Star of TV and screen actor Kevin Sorbo was at the Conservative Political Action Conference last month in Orlando, Florida speaking about being canceled and about building his own uncancellable studio. I was there for Visu.News and took the opportunity to ask him the only thing I could think of at the moment, which was about fired Mandalorian actress Gina Carano. Carano was fired from the popular Disney+ show after (among many, many other things) posting comments comparing the treatment of Republicans in America to the treatment of Jewish people during Nazi Germany.

Not surprisingly Disney let her go, along with her agency UTA. Wannabe film mogul Ben Shapiro is reported to be working on a project with her as well as Kevin Sorbo.

CPAC 2022 saw an unusually high number of canceled former famous people and the event itself promoted the slogan “Awake Not Woke.” No specifics on what exactly that means were given to me while I was in attendance in the event that moved from Maryland to Orlando last year to avoid COVID restrictions in the oyster state.
