Photos: Trump’s Wall in Washington DC

According to media reports, Trump will take down the over one mile of fencing that has been surrounding the White House for the last week. That’s a positive. But unfortunately that means that the signs and art that has been covering the ‘wall’ will also have to be taken down.

In my experience that usually means that it will be trashed by the authorities never to be seen again. So I did my best to take photos of all of the signs that were placed on or against this fencing – which included messages to Trump, memorials to George Floyd and the many other people of color murdered by law enforcement and general support of Black Lives Matter. As with my photos Occupy Wall Street’s signs, I hope these photos will provide some level of history keeping.
