It was quite nice to visit New Hampshire in the Summer. New Hampshire in the Winter is well, not as pleasant. On somewhat of a whim I drove the 6 hours to Manchester, NH to cover the convention and get a load of great stock photos of the candidates… all of them. Dear lord… SO MANY OF THEM.
Joe Biden was first, which was good as he is famously late to events and it clearly forced him to be in and out early. From then on it was 10min speeches for every candidate with a 10min speech from a local politician or union leader in between. Scheduled to go from 9am to 3pm the event surprisingly only ran over by about an hour.
While I wasn’t really able to follow most of the speeches as I was running back and forth trying to file my photos to Zuma Press wire and then immediately running back to the front of the auditorium, they all seemed to be pretty bog-standard campaign speeches. Bernie got a huge welcome but Warren got by far the HUGEST, like actually shockingly large response especially when you consider that she was towards the end the of the program. That said, it is Bernie/Warren country so not too too surprising.
Since there were so many candidates speaking – I’m just going to post one image of each candidate in the order that they spoke. You can see the rest of them at my portfolio site zdroberts.com
