“Am I Being Detained?” – Bill Fulton explains what a sovereign citizen is

Alaska is bigger than Texas, you could split Alaska in two and still both parts would be bigger than the Texas. So when they say “Everything’s bigger in Texas” – imagine what that means in Alaska.

Back when Bill Fulton lived in Alaska he had to deal with a lot of crazy people. And when you call someone ‘crazy’ it means something different in the 49th state. They’re a whole level above lower 48 crazy.

Alaska has a whole bunch of people that moved up there to get away from any number of things – cops, exes, people – but a lot of Alaskans moved there to get away from BIG GOVERNMENT. Never mind that one of Alaska’s top employers are government. Government is everywhere in Alaska – but there’s a group of people called ‘sovereign citizens’ that consider themselves separate from the rest of us. They don’t need no guvment.

Bill unfortunately, as private security and as a bail bondsmen had to deal with these lovely people. He’s heard “AM I BEING DETAINED” in one year in Alaska, probably more than most of you ever will. And you should be thankful for that.

The Blood of Patriots: How I Took Down an Anti-Government Militia with Beer, Bounty Hunting, and Badassery by Bill Fulton and Jeanne Devon will be available in stores September 19th, 2017 – it’s currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
